Howard & Byrne Celebrate Yorkshire Lawyer of the Year Win at the Yorkshire Legal Awards 2025
We are delighted to announce that Colin Byrne of Howard & Byrne has been named Yorkshire Lawyer of the Year at the prestigious Yorkshire Legal Awards 2025.
This year, the firm was shortlisted in two categories: Criminal Law Firm of the Year and Lawyer of the Year (Colin Byrne). The Yorkshire Legal Awards is a highlight of the regional legal calendar, and took place on 9 October at Leeds’ New Dock Hall.
Our practice has had the honour of being nominated for these awards on many occasions in the past, winning Criminal Law Firm of the Year in 2021, Small Law Firm of the Year in 2020, and Criminal Law Firm of the Year in 2024.
The Judges’ comments: “The winner distinguished themselves through their role as a positive role model for the profession, with extensive charity involvement and significant pro bono contributions. Backed by strong feedback from the community, this individual stood out as a truly worthy winner.”
