    Colin has a wealth of experience defending heavy weight criminal cases locally, nationally and internationally. This includes major crime, corruption and bribery matters, extradition proceedings and investigations that cross jurisdictional borders. Previously recognised as Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year and also recognised by Legal 500 as a Leading Individual, Colin is credited by the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners as being "extremely tenacious", "a real fighter" with "considerable charm and charisma". He has been nominated for Yorkshire Lawyer of the Year at the Yorkshire Legal Awards in 2023, 2024 and 2025, winning the award in 2025. Admitted counsel to the International Criminal Court.

    Kevin is acknowledged by the Legal 500 to be an "extremely experienced" practitioner with specialist expertise in complex Fraud, Proceeds of Crime (POCA) and Confiscation proceedings. Whether appearing at the Magistrates, Crown Court or Court of Appeal, Kevin is an accomplished, passionate and technically precise advocate who achieves results.

    Jacky leads our nationally renowned Prison Law team, representing prisoners before parole hearings or similar tribunals. Recognised by the Legal 500 for her specialist expertise in Prison Law, Jacky has provided lectures on the subject to other practitioners. A gifted advocate who regularly appears before the Magistrates Court and Parole Board alike, Jacky is dynamic, eloquent and powerfully persuasive.

  • An experienced Magistrates and Crown Court advocate, Lee-Anne is a respected solicitor and recognised by the Legal 500. With her forensic attention to detail, Lee-Anne is accomplished in dealing with Fraud and POCA cases. With a particular interest in Animal Welfare cases, Lee-Anne is meticulous, persistent and empathetic.
